Oh Deer

The Boy and I were looking at various hotels in Switzerland for an inpromptu weekend getaway. One particular hotel caught my attention as it had a very liberal animal policy:

This particular hotel doesn't want to lose out on the very important "families with companion deer" demographic. If you don't already know, 100 Kilos is about 220 pounds. This 5 star resort not only allows giant deer, they apologize in advance if you want to bring a deer that is too gargantuan and exceeds their policy. At least the mystery of where Old Saint Nick spends his holidays is solved.

Dude, Otis is only 80 pounds. I'm telling Jared it's time to get a great dane and then we'll bring both doggies here!

Dunno how deer translates to your English, but over here those animals are quite big, usually between 700-800 Kg (ask Wikipedia), so be careful with this hotel, they might eat your deer. That's the only explanation why they only allow 100Kg, that's without the fur, bones and antier. (and depending on the area where the hotel is, be take care of the cute dogs, they ate dogs here too in the past) :-)(well there's a wikipedia link too, but as a former dog owner [no I did not eat it!] I don't want to expose you to the pictures in the German article...

I am always a little worried about Dooley considering he does resemble the shape of a glazed ham. Considering Easter is just around the corner, I am even more concerned.
